This trade quality sponge is made from 100% cellulose which is both more durable and more absorbent than foam sponges, holding up to 20 times its own weight in water. It is ideal for washing down surfaces to remove loose dirt and debris, tile grouting, caulking, sugar or detergent soaping of wallpaper prior to removal, applying wallpaper and removing excess paste, as well as general cleaning tasks. It can also be used with decorative glazes to create special effects.
